It’s been nearly two months since Beverley Mitchell, the beloved actress known for her role in Hollywood Darlings, experienced the devastating loss of twins through a miscarriage. Despite the heartbreak, this mom of two isn’t letting her loss stop her from dreaming big. In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Beverley was asked if she’d consider expanding her family again. Her answer? A resounding "Absolutely."
At just 37 years old, Beverley Mitchell is ready to embrace whatever life throws her way. Speaking candidly, she told Us Weekly on January 12, “I’m open to whatever comes our way,” referring to her future plans with her husband, Michael Cameron. Beverley, who is already a proud mom to Kenzie Cameron, 5, and Hutton Michael Cameron, 3, bravely shared her story on Instagram this past Thanksgiving. That’s when she revealed the heartbreaking news of her miscarriage to her fans, who rallied around her with love and support.

Even in the face of such personal tragedy, Beverley remains deeply grateful for the love and support that surrounds her. In her original Thanksgiving post, she expressed her gratitude by saying, “So much to be grateful for!” She went on to share, “Sharing a little bit about the past few months, a little heartache, a miscarriage, and healing! Thankful for my wonderful family who fills my [heart]. And thank you… to all of you for your love and support! And giving me a platform to share all my highs and lows!”
Plans for the Future
Beverley isn’t just looking forward to expanding her family again. She also has dreams of sharing a special moment with her close friend and former co-star, Jessica Biel. Imagine Beverley expecting a baby at the same time as Jessica! The idea of matching baby bumps excites her. It’s not hard to see why she’d want this. After all, Jessica was there for her through everything, including the miscarriage.
Beverley shared with Us Weekly back in November, “Jessica was very supportive through everything and was always checking in on me and through the whole miscarriage thing. She was one of the first people I called and I’m just very grateful for her friendship and her being just a frickin’ bada–, awesome person.”
Healing and Moving Forward
When Beverley’s world was turned upside down by the loss of her twins, she turned to her blog, Growing Up Hollywood, to process her feelings. In a heartfelt post, she opened up about the shock and pain of losing her babies. She wrote, “A few months back Michael and I were thrilled, we had just found out we were pregnant, and though we were surprised, we were excited.” But life had other plans, and Beverley found herself grappling with the unexpected. “A few weeks later, our new dream of our growing family came crashing down; we had a miscarriage. This was a shock. Honestly, my first instinct was to say I was fine, and to be honest; I was trying to be. I thought I had to be, for my family, for myself. I had to jump on a plane and go to work being surrounded by babies and kids while I was still miscarrying. That was interesting.”
