In the video, Gabrielle gets real about her struggles. She reveals during an appearance on The Dr. Oz Show that she experienced "eight or nine" miscarriages. "It wasn't a problem getting pregnant," she explains. "The challenge was holding onto the baby." After years of trying, they discovered that Gabrielle has a condition called Adenomyosis, which made carrying a pregnancy to term nearly impossible. That’s when they decided to pursue surrogacy, a decision that ultimately led to the arrival of Kaavia James.
“For us, it was about finding the safest and most supportive route for our family,” Gabrielle explains. “Our surrogate carries our embryo, so she has no genetic connection to our baby. We were determined to be in the room as our child entered the world, and that’s exactly what happened.”
The video captures the emotional moment when Gabrielle first lays eyes on Kaavia in the delivery room. Tears stream down her face as she cradles her newborn daughter. "We're just so grateful and so thankful for the gift that they've given us," she says, her voice filled with emotion. In the caption, Gabrielle describes the video as their "birth journey," emphasizing the uniqueness of every family and the special way each one comes together.
