That’s when they decided to pursue surrogacy, a decision that ultimately led to the arrival of Kaavia James.
“For us, it was about finding the safest and most supportive route for our family,” Gabrielle explains. “Our surrogate carries our embryo, so she has no genetic connection to our baby. We were determined to be in the room as our child entered the world, and that’s exactly what happened.”
