Actress Jennifer Aniston is embracing life like never before as she gears up for her 50th birthday! At 49, Jennifer appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week, where host Ellen DeGeneres, 60, couldn’t help but compliment her on how great she looks for her age. This sparked a lively conversation where Jennifer revealed the secrets behind her incredible fitness routine.

Ellen began by saying, “You look fantastic — you should be thrilled,” to which Jennifer responded, “I feel fantastic!” The credit for this amazing energy and fitness goes to Jen’s boxing trainer, Leyon Azubuike, affectionately known as the “gentle giant.” Jennifer has been working hard under his guidance, and their bond has grown so strong that she doesn’t mind being called “champ” by him during their training sessions.

How Jennifer Stays Fit and Radiant

Jennifer shared with the audience how Leyon motivates her during their sessions. “He calls me champ, and it’s not weird!” she laughed. “I never thought someone would be able to call me champ and I’d be okay with it. But now, it’s like, ‘Hey, champ! We gotta get your heart rate up to 80, champ!’ It’s become this really fun nickname that fuels me during our workouts.”

Ellen’s Special Birthday Surprise

To make this milestone birthday extra special, Ellen announced that she’s planning something truly memorable for her dear friend. “I’m doing a party for you, right here on the show,” Ellen revealed. “I’m going to have an entire hour dedicated to celebrating you. You know how much fun my birthday is; you’ve been here for it. And you know how much I love surprises and making things special. What if we celebrate your birthday here for the whole hour? I really mean it.”

Given their busy schedules, both Jennifer and Ellen admitted they don’t get to spend as much time together as they’d like. So, Jennifer excitedly proposed a separate afterparty at Ellen’s house with just their closest friends. “Is it greedy of me to say that we go to your house and have an afterparty?” she asked, to which Ellen replied, “We’ll talk about that, we’ll figure that out.” Although Ellen joked that it “probably won’t happen,” the idea brought smiles to both their faces.
