Alright, folks, let me tell you a story that’s sure to warm your heart. On January 14th, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a visit to Hamilton Square in Birkenhead, England. Now, while everyone was buzzing about the Duchess of Sussex’s pregnancy, there was one particular moment during this event that truly stole the show. It’s the kind of interaction that reminds us why we adore these two so much.
During the visit, a woman named Tracee Marie couldn’t help but share a beautiful moment on Twitter. Tracee’s niece, a young blind girl, had the privilege of meeting Harry and Meghan. The photos she posted show just how thoughtful and considerate the royal couple can be. In one image, you see Prince Harry gently holding onto the girl, ensuring her safety. Meanwhile, in another, Meghan is seen on the ground, carefully examining a Braille card made especially for her. Tracee described the scene on Twitter: “The little girl with the grey hat and black bobble (my niece who is blind) had Harry holding onto her to ensure she was safe. Meghan went down on the floor to take a card she had made for her in Braille. They’ll make great parents.”
But wait, there’s more! According to People magazine, the royal couple didn’t stop there. Some of the blind children in the crowd were given the chance to touch Harry and Meghan’s faces. Frank Field, a Member of Parliament, shared the heartwarming details: “In the square, there were some blind children who wanted to touch the royal faces because they couldn’t see them. Both of them went down on their haunches so the children could touch their faces.” Can you imagine the kindness and empathy they showed in that moment? It’s truly something special.

Of course, this wasn’t the only highlight of their visit. Meghan and Harry also took the time to meet with veterans and members of the local community center, Tomorrow’s Women Wirral. This organization provides essential support for individuals dealing with domestic abuse, mental health challenges, and other critical issues. The visit to Birkenhead marked their first public appearance of 2019, and we can’t wait to see what else they have in store for the rest of the year.
