In a recent interview, Princess Diana’s former royal butler, Paul Burrell, shed some light on why Queen Elizabeth hasn’t stepped in to resolve this ongoing family feud. According to Paul, Her Majesty believes this is something Meghan needs to handle on her own. “Meghan must tackle the issue and put it to bed,” Paul told In Touch Weekly on Monday, January 14. Here’s the thing: The Queen, now 92, isn’t one to get involved in personal family matters, especially when it comes to her grandchildren’s in-laws. “The Queen would never reach out to solve such a personal family problem with her grandson’s wife’s father,” Paul explained. “She’d rather let it be, considering it none of her business.” Makes sense, doesn’t it?
