Where’s the Spring DWTS?

Hey there, dance fans! If you’re scratching your head wondering why there’s no spring edition of Dancing With the Stars in 2019, you’re not alone. Fans have grown accustomed to tuning in for both fall and spring seasons, but this year, things are a little different. As of now, the next season—Season 28—is set to air in the fall of 2019. Yep, no spring fling withDWTS this time around.

When ABC unveiled its spring lineup on December 12, 2018, Dancing With the Stars was notably missing. Last year, the show tried something new in the spring by airing an all-athletes season, where Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon claimed the crown. Then, in the fall, the series returned to its regular format with Bobby Bones taking home the Mirror Ball Trophy. That victory, however, sparked quite a bit of controversy among fans.

Controversy Surrounding Bobby Bones’ Win
