At 74 years old, Thomas Markle is expressing his heartbreak over the situation. He shared, “I’ve pleaded with her to pick up the phone,” referring to his daughter Meghan. “I wrote her a two-page letter and sent it by certified mail through her representative in LA. I even asked her why she was believing the lies. I went as far as hand-delivering a letter to Doria, asking her why our daughter won’t speak to me.” It’s clear that Thomas is desperate for closure, and his efforts reflect a father’s longing to reconnect with his child.

He expressed his feelings, saying, “I’ve made dozens of attempts to reach my daughter via text and letters, but she and Harry have put up a wall of silence. I can’t stay silent anymore; it’s eating me alive.” This silence has only fueled his frustration and confusion, pushing him to seek answers from those closest to Meghan, like Doria Ragland.

A royal source told Us Weekly back in July that Thomas was “walking a fine line” with his public outbursts, warning that if he wanted to maintain any relationship with Harry and Meghan, the “blabbing needs to stop.” However, Thomas insists that the claims against him are false. “If she would just speak to me, things could be different,” he pleaded. “I love Meghan very much. I want her and Harry to have a beautiful, healthy baby and a great life. But I want them to stop believing the lies.”
