Back in August 2018, Carrie and Mike, who’s 38, let the world know they were expecting another baby. “Mike, Isaiah, and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another little fish to our pond,” Carrie said at the time. “This has just been a dream come true with [the] album and with baby news and all that stuff. We’re just so excited.” The couple’s joy was palpable, and fans couldn’t help but share in their excitement.
After dropping the big news, Carrie shared that this pregnancy was a bit different from her first. “It’s definitely different than the first time,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “When they say every pregnancy is different, it really is. Just different symptoms. I feel like this one is just a little harder on my body for some reason. But it’s been really good.” It’s amazing how every pregnancy brings its own set of experiences, and Carrie handled it all with grace.
She also mentioned how sweet their toddler son Isaiah has been about becoming a big brother. “He’ll be really sweet—he’ll talk to my belly and kiss my belly. He’s the sweetest little boy,” Carrie shared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. But, like most kids, Isaiah has a condition. “He says he won’t change any poopy diapers,” Carrie joked to ET. “I understand, maybe I can change his mind.” It’s moments like these that remind us of the everyday humor and charm in family life.
