Jane Fonda Spills The Beans On Dream Love Scene Partners On ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’

Alright, let’s dive right in. Jane Fonda, the iconic actress known for her powerhouse performances, isn’t exactly shy when it comes to expressing herself. During her recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show with her Grace and Frankie co-star Lily Tomlin, she certainly didn’t hold back. Believe it or not, the 81-year-old Oscar-winning actress revealed her dream on-screen romantic partners would be either Liam Neeson or Blake Shelton. Yep, you heard that right!

Ellen Plays a Bold Game with Jane and Lily

On the show, host Ellen DeGeneres rolled out a game called “Jane and Lily [Don’t Give A F–k].” Now, this wasn’t your typical trivia game. Ellen asked the dynamic duo a series of questions designed to get them to open up and share some unexpected truths. One question, in particular, had everyone on the edge of their seats. When Ellen inquired about a person they’d like to do a love scene with, Jane’s response was as bold as it gets.

Without missing a beat, Jane shouted out, “Liam Neeson!” The crowd erupted in cheers and laughter. But she wasn’t done yet. She added, “Or Blake Shelton!” While Jane was quick with her answers, Lily, on the other hand, struggled to come up with a response and ultimately left the question unanswered. It’s clear Jane isn’t one to shy away from the spotlight or a good laugh.

    Jane’s Journey Through Love

Jane’s last romantic relationship was with music producer Richard Perry, which ended after eight years in January 2017. Over the years, she’s been married three times — to director Roger Vadim, politician Tom Hayden, and media mogul Ted Turner. Despite the divorces, Jane’s outlook on life has shifted in a positive direction. In a 2012 interview with Katie Couric, she revealed, “As I started getting older, I realized, I’m so happy! I didn’t expect this!”

Today, Jane’s focus is on her acting career and she’s grateful for the life she’s built. In a December 2017 interview with People, she admitted, “I never pictured 30. I assumed I wouldn’t live very long and that I would die lonely and an addict of some sort. I didn’t think if I did live this long, that I would be vibrant and healthy and still working. I’m grateful.”

Season 5 of Grace and Frankie premiered on Netflix on Friday, Jan. 18. So, if you’re looking for more of Jane’s incredible performances, now’s the time to binge-watch!
