Hey there, friends! Let’s dive into a juicy conversation about Sharna Burgess, the incredible dancer from Dancing With the Stars. In a recent Instagram Q&A, Sharna revealed that not all of her friendships with former DWTS partners have survived beyond the show. Can you believe that? Now, the 33-year-old pro dancer is opening up about who she stays connected with and who she doesn’t.
Sharna, with her signature red hair and dazzling smile, admitted that she only keeps in touch with a handful of her past celebrity partners. Fans were left wondering who exactly she was referring to when she responded to the question, “Do you keep in touch with your celebrity partners?” with a simple, “Some, not all.” Then, she added with a playful twist, “Go on…guess who I DON’T speak to.” Talk about leaving us hanging!
Sharna has been part of the DWTS family since Season 16 in 2011, so she’s had plenty of opportunities to form bonds with her celebrity partners. Over the years, she’s danced alongside a diverse group of personalities, including comedian Andy Dick, NFL star Keyshawn Johnson, figure skater Charlie White, and talk show host Tavis Smiley. And let’s not forget her time with Army vet Noah Galloway, Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter, and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown. The list goes on, with race car driver James Hinchcliffe, bull rider Bonner Bolton, basketball coach Derek Fisher, and Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman rounding out her roster of partners.

Sharna couldn’t say enough good things about Bobby. “He’s one of my favorite humans, a best friend, family, and a mentor for me,” she gushed. “I’m so invested in his happiness and success. I also know how much he just cringed reading this. He isn’t good at receiving love and praise—but he deserves it all the time.” How sweet is that?
Sharna also took a moment to reflect on what she personally gained in 2018. “Now this is impossible to really answer,” she admitted. “But what I can say in short is my whole 2018 was about understanding myself more, why I would make the choices I did, prioritize what I did. Why things [hurt] the way they did and why I felt stuck.”
