Chris Stapleton And Morgane: Life On The Road With A Growing Family

Let’s talk about Chris Stapleton and Morgane, the power couple who just keep adding to their family. After welcoming twins back in March, they’re now getting ready for baby number five. That’s right, folks—five! And if you think raising a family of that size is tough, try doing it while maintaining a successful music career and being on the road. Chris and Morgane aren’t doing it alone; they’ve got their "village" to thank for keeping everything running smoothly. “We have a village, and none of this is possible without that village,” Chris told Life & Style.

Life on Tour with a Growing Family

Imagine juggling a music career with raising five children. That’s exactly what Chris and Morgane are doing, and they’re pulling it off with grace. Chris, now 40, and Morgane, 35, are famously private about their kids, but they’ve opened up about how their entire family joins them on tour. “Our kids go on the road, my in-laws go on the road, my mom goes on the road when she feels like coming, and so we carry a good bit of actual family,” Chris shared with Kix Brooks of American Country Countdown.

The Support System Behind the Scenes

Chris and Morgane couldn’t do it all without the help of their incredible support system. “Everybody is so helpful, and we have so many great people who work on the road with us who help make that as comfortable as we can with children,” Chris explained. This kind of teamwork makes it possible for them to keep their family close, even while he’s performing across the country.

Having his family with him must be a dream come true for Chris. He’s always got his kids by his side, and he’s not shy about expressing his gratitude. During the 2018 CMAs, Chris took a moment to thank his children for putting up with his frequent absences. It’s moments like these that remind us how much family means to him.

Expanding the Definition of Family

For Chris, family extends beyond just blood relatives. “I consider Derek [Mixon on drums] and J.T. [Cure on bass] to be family members, you know, the guys in the band, and all the guys in the crew,” Chris shared. It’s clear that he values the people around him, both on and off the stage. “I want everybody to feel like they are family. We try to approach things that way. That’s always been the goal with me anytime.”

With their family growing even more, Chris and Morgane may need to call in reinforcements. On November 2, the “Parachute” singer announced that Morgane is expecting their fifth child. “Some of you may know that we have four children,” Chris said during a live performance. “We just had twins, about seven months ago. Now there’s four for us, but we’re gonna make it five!” It’s clear that this power couple is ready to take on the challenge of raising a family of seven, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for the Stapleton clan.
