Hold onto your hearts, folks. Joan Collins recently opened up about the loss of her beloved sister, Jackie Collins, who passed away in 2015 after battling breast cancer for seven years. Now, Joan, at the age of 85, has revealed a touching belief—that a small fly that keeps appearing near her is none other than her sister, Jackie, visiting from beyond.
“There’s this little fly that seems to show up around me all the time. It’s honestly bizarre,” Joan confessed in a recent interview with The Observer. “I think it might just be my sister.”
She went on to elaborate, “I know it sounds strange, and honestly, I’m not entirely sure if I believe in an afterlife or not. That’s still a mystery to me, but it’s undeniably strange. No matter where I am—at least two or three times a week—whether I’m in France, London, or right here, this little fly shows up. It’s almost like a comforting presence.”

Joan also took a moment to reminisce about the deep bond she shared with her sister. “You know, as sisters, we had our ups and downs, and the press loved to blow those moments out of proportion. But let me tell you, Jackie was the closest person to me for a very long time. Being the older sister, I think she looked up to me in a way,” Joan shared fondly.
What makes this story even more poignant is the fact that Jackie didn’t disclose her stage four breast cancer diagnosis to Joan. “Thank goodness she didn’t tell me,” Joan admitted. “I mean, I wish she had, but Jackie didn’t want pity. And in this town, you know how gossip spreads like wildfire.”
